Satisfaction
Finally, the week's coming to an end. With tight schedules filled with remedial, tests, NDP rehearsals and even juggling with revisions. I am so happy that I've managed to stay strong throughout this week, although I keep feeling unwell, and my cough getting worser by the day, I love the fact that all band members who went through this have survived. People may say, that we are just sitting down and playing music, and they're much much tired than us. But unfortunately, no. Everyone is equally tired, those who march for the parade might be only physically tired, but for us band members, we are mentally and physically tired. Plus when our lips hurt like mad, there's different kind of things that we can't consume like iced water and stuffs, for fear our embouchure might change.
But anyway, NDP rehearsals today was a torture for me. Mainly because we're not allowed to sing any National Day songs, and it was such a torture to me cos I love singing to the National Day songs. Hehehe, it's in the blood. I bet tomorrow's going to be an awesome day for me, PROVIDED it doesn't rain. So, let's pray hard, hoping that it doesn't rain tomorrow, shall we? ;)
