Determination
I've been super busy this week. Although it's only the first week of school, the exhaustion of school is already dawning on me, seeing that I am gonna have 4 practices of band per week, which is going to be only for two weeks, seeing that our competition is next Saturday, on the 10th of July. I'm actually anticipating for our competition cos I think that the band is really doing well and improved a lot in just a few rehearsals. Oh well, that's how EVG Winds work right? Always working hard and producing good results when the competition is near.
Also, I'm pleased with myself cos I complain about remedial no more.I'm actually happy to be heading for remedial now and then, cos this means a smaller group of students, and I can focus more. Talking about remedial, Mr Lee talked to me just now when I was heading for Mother Tongue, and he said that he could see me struggling in class. He actually said that I work better and understand better when it's a smaller group, or even individual. That, I'm happy cos I know that is going to be the way I am going to study. I'm gonna ask teachers to stay back with me here and then so I can achieve good results for Semester 2.
I'm super determined to achieve good results cos I felt sad when I read the personal stuffs I wrote in my handbook in January. It's like I keep failing to prove what I wanted to prove, and I'm gonna try my best. After all, my mom believes in me. I remember what she smsed me straight after the Parent-Teacher meeting, and it dawned on me that I have people who believe in me. I am not going to let people bring and drag me down, cos I am strong. I am determined to be a good leader with good results.
